Exclusive Alumni-Only Workshop
Alumni Rites of Passage:
Own Your Story
November 17-22, 2025 in Baja, Mexico
Led by: Barb Tint, Thérèse O’Neill
Go Deeper. Live Your Truth. And Groove Your Way to What’s Next.
You came to MEA seeking insight, clarity, and connection. And you found something powerful – maybe even life-changing.
But what brought you to MEA isn’t where you are now.
You may have shed identities… taken bold steps… and reconnected with parts of yourself you’d forgotten.
And yet you still sense a new chapter calling you forward, inviting you to step more fully into who you’re meant to be.
In this intimate, alumni-only “playshop,” you’ll gather with fellow MEA graduates who are ready – like you – to engage at a deeper level from day one.
Together, you’ll reconnect with your inner compass, explore personal rites of passage through play, movement, story, and reflection, and craft a vision for what’s next – rooted in authenticity, joy, and your evolving truth.
You’ve already done the work to awaken. Now it’s time to integrate, embody, and evolve.
Led by beloved MEA faculty Barb Tint and Thérèse O’Neil, this alumni-only week in Baja offers a powerful blend of wisdom and curiosity, intention and delight designed to usher you into a new place of flourishing – with greater clarity and alumni accountability.
What you’ll gain
Through a dynamic blend of embodied practice, rich discussion, and meaningful reflection, you will:
Here’s your chance to integrate who you’ve been with who you’re becoming – and step into your next chapter with clarity, courage, and joy supported by a powerful alumni community.
You told us that you were looking for the “next step” to take on your journey… this is it!
Alumni Rites of Passage: Own Your Story is designed to give you a meaningful way to keep learning, growing, and thriving – in community with each other and with the support of our senior content facilitators.
As an MEA alum, you've already unlocked that powerful third vault and are ready for something different – an experience designed for participants who can connect and engage at an advanced level from day one.
You’ve done the work and understand the power of ritual.
You know that positive rituals help you tap into your intuition, cultivate presence, and forge deeper connections with your community and the world around you.
But as you move into your next chapter, your priorities evolve. The rituals that once helped you chase success – climbing ladders, growing ventures, proving your worth – may no longer fit the life you're creating now.
Now you're searching for something different. Something that meets your needs and desires to simplify, laugh more, connect deeply, and have courage to reach for your dreams.
We'd love to help you experience new rituals that support the happiness, fulfillment, and freedom you crave at this stage of life.

Thérèse O’Neill
Facilitator Lead in Baja
Educator | Senior Facilitator | Trauma-Informed Guide
Thérèse O'Neill is the Facilitator Lead for MEA's Baja campus. She is a longtime educator in California and in Mexico, volunteering with Nest Global to provide early childhood education to young asylum seekers and refugees. She holds degrees from UC Berkeley and Stanford, and has a background in trauma-informed education and psychology. She is a resident of Baja, where she writes, makes textiles and travels in her free time.
Thérèse came as a compadre to MEA in 2021 in the midst of numerous transitions and a desire to remake a life for herself in Mexico. That transformative experience led her to facilitation training with Chip and Jeff, and to living at Baja Sage, the housing community aligned with MEA principles of regenerating soul and soil.
For Thérèse, the most powerful aspect of working at MEA is being of service, co-creating magical weeks with folks seeking to move out of their comfort zone into greater meaning and purpose—or just needing a place to remember themselves and their goodness.
Along with her work at MEA, Thérèse is currently working toward an MS in Positive Psychology to grow her knowledge of new social science and best practices to serve the MEA community.
