Seán Gallen

Seán Gallen is a half Irish, half Martinican artist and writer who studied Film and English Literature at the University of Glasgow. In 2023, he was a resident on the Rachel Baptiste Programme, debuting work on the Dublin Theater Festival stage, and was awarded the Virgin Media Discovers Fund. His second short film, The Head on Him, premiered at Dublin International Film Festival 2024 and continues its festival run with screenings at Pöff, Show Me Shorts, and Belfast Film Festival, among others.

Seán is also a mentor with National Talent Academies, supporting emerging filmmakers from underrepresented backgrounds as they build careers in film and television.
He currently serves as Senior Storytelling and Content Manager at beVisioneers: The Mercedes-Benz Fellowship.
