The Action Brief: Get Messy, Get Clear, Get Active

October 26, 2026 9:00 AM PT 12:00 PM ET

You know you need change. You might even know what you want. Yet you’re still stuck standing still. Reflection, direction, and intention are good starts, but insight without action is just a nicer kind of stuck.

To create real momentum, you need an action brief: a sharp, sticky, singular declaration that makes action irresistible. Join author and strategist Bonnie Wan alongside host Mary Hofstedt for a live conversation on how to move from reflection to declaration.

Bonnie will share her methodology for getting messy, refining your true desires, reframing limiting beliefs, and translating clarity into daily action. She will also give a preview of her upcoming four-day MEA workshop, The Action Brief: Your Time Is Now, taking place January 31–February 4 in Santa Fe.

Transformational Speaking: The Real You Is Waiting to Be Heard

October 28, 2026 10:00 AM PT 01:00 PM ET

Has what you have to say kept pace with who you’ve become? The talk that built your reputation may no longer light you up. The message that once fit may not be the one trying to come through you now.

And then there are the tired speaking techniques that can feel phony and contrived – and bore even you. Much of what we learn to become better speakers can shut down the spontaneity and aliveness that make people want to listen. And in an age of AI? Words that sound good but aren’t embodied just don’t land. Audiences want a real person to show up.

Join Gail Larsen and MEA CEO Derek Gehl for a lively exploration of what happens when you get out of the jet lag of your own life, stop performing, get real, and bring more of who you are to every stage, screen, microphone, meeting, and conversation that matters. Derek calls Transformational Speaking “the speaking training I didn’t know I needed.”

They’ll explore Original Medicine, the gifts that are yours to bring and nowhere else duplicated; HomeZone™, where the ease and aliveness of your best conversations come with you onto the stage; what it means to be an evolutionary with a new story to tell; and how to dump the script with an easy method of presentation development that supports both structure and spontaneity.

All five of Gail’s MEA programs in 2026 sold out. Some of those who experienced the work will share what changed for them – and you’ll get a first look at what’s coming in 2027.

Let your life speak. And whatever you do, don’t bore the Mystery!

A Kinder Way with Sage Robbins

November 2, 2026 10:00 AM PT 01:00 PM ET

Sage Robbins is a speaker, guide, and author who’s shared global stages alongside her husband, Tony Robbins, for more than 25 years. Along the way, she’s been brought to her knees by life more than once, and she’s found her way back to herself each time. She calls what she learned A Kinder Way to lead, to love, and to be.

MEA’s Chip Conley and Kari Cardinale join Sage for an unscripted conversation about what that looks like. They’ll talk about:

  • Lasting Love: Treating love as something you practice and relationships as mirrors

  • Conscious Leadership: Going first, choosing inner alignment, and taking 100% responsibility

  • When Roles Reverse: Caring for an aging parent and navigating the grief that comes with it

  • The Seasons of Life: Choosing acceptance over resistance to navigate change without losing yourself

  • Finding New Purpose: Beginning again and stepping into a new calling, whatever chapter you’re in

The Soul of MEA: Behind the Lens with Filmmaker Nic Askew

November 5, 2026 8:00 AM PT 11:00 AM ET

Earlier this year at our Santa Fe campus, filmmaker Nic Askew set up a single camera inside the old chapel with no script, no prompts, and zero agenda. What followed surprised everyone: alumni lined up for hours just to sit in the chair, drop their everyday armor, and speak from the heart.

That impromptu shoot became the foundation for the short film The Soul of MEA, premiering at the MEA Film Fest in Santa Fe this December.

In this live conversation, host Derek Gehl sits down with Nic to get the inside story behind making The Soul of MEA. Nic will share how he discovered the chapel, how the setup came together, the driving idea behind the project, and what it felt like watching alumni wait in line just to share their honest truth on camera.

Moving Through Loss: Meeting Grief with Compassion, Curiosity, and Care

November 20, 2026 8:00 AM PT 11:00 AM ET

Whether facing the loss of a loved one, a divorce, a career pivot, or an empty nest, the hardest part is often feeling like you’re supposed to have it together when you can barely see the next step. Most of us cope by outrunning it – packing our schedules and soldiering on out of fear that if we open the door to what hurts, we’ll fall into a dark well and never climb out.

As trauma therapist Meghan Riordan Jarvis explains, our bodies won’t let us outrun heartbreak forever. In midlife, buried losses resurface as insomnia, brain fog, anxiety, or deep exhaustion. The good news? Our nervous system comes equipped with built-in biological guardrails to keep you safe through the storm.

In this candid conversation, host Mary Hofstedt sits down with Meghan to explore what loss actually does to our physiology, and how to navigate the aftermath without losing yourself. We’ll also preview Meghan’s upcoming in-person workshop at our Santa Fe campus, Moving Through Loss: From Grief to Grounded Renewal.

If you’re carrying a loss or transition that feels heavier than you can hold alone, join us live. You’ll walk away with practical relief, self-compassion, and steadier ground beneath your feet.
