Come to Baja.

Leave Knowing What's Next.

Discover what’s possible at MEA's oceanside campus

There's something about being near the ocean that makes the big questions feel more answerable. This spring and summer at MEA's Baja campus, you'll find something daily life rarely offers – unhurried days by the Pacific, warm water, open sky, and the kind of focused intention that has a way of cutting through everything you've been putting off. Come for a workshop. Come for a few weeks. Come because you're ready for what's next and you'd like to figure out what that is somewhere beautiful.

Whatever you're searching for, this is a good place to find it.

Cultivating Purpose

  • Barbara Tint | May 4–9, 2026

At some point, the goals you chased and the roles you played stop feeling like enough. This workshop is for that moment — when you know something needs to change but you're not yet sure what. Led by Barbara Tint, a social psychologist and master storyteller who brings warmth, humor, and genuine depth to the big questions, you'll move from the restless feeling of something more toward a life that actually reflects who you are now.

Who Are You Now? Embrace Your Emerging Self

  • Jill Nykoliation | May 11–16, 2026

Women are exceptionally good at knowing who everyone else needs them to be. This workshop is an invitation to turn that same depth of attention toward yourself. Led by Jill Nykoliation — executive coach, former global CEO, and one of MEA's most beloved faculty — you'll identify and release the outdated roles and beliefs that no longer fit, and step into the clearer, more confident version of yourself that's been quietly waiting for permission.

Navigating Transitions

  • Christine Sperber | May 18–23, 2026

Life's biggest turning points — the endings, the in-betweens, the moments when everything is up for grabs — don't have to be endured alone. This workshop helps you meet uncertainty not with fear but with curiosity, transforming the transitions that tend to destabilize us into the very moments that clarify what we actually want. Led by a facilitator who understands that the middle of the story is often where the real growth happens.

Let the Dream Take Over: Pursuing Your Passion

  • Stacy Peralta | June 15–20, 2026

What if the dreams you quietly set aside weren't behind you — they were just waiting? Led by Stacy Peralta, the legendary skateboarder-turned-filmmaker who has reinvented himself more than once, this workshop is for anyone who's ever talked themselves out of something big. You'll learn why embracing a beginner's mindset in midlife isn't naive — it's actually the most strategic thing you can do.

Baja Summer Immersion

  • July 15 – October 4, 2026 | Stay for as few as 3 days or as long as you’d like

This isn't a workshop. There's no curriculum to follow, no deliverables to produce, no outcomes to optimize for. The Baja Summer Immersion is simply an open invitation to spend time – as few as three days, as many weeks as you like – at MEA's extraordinary oceanside campus between Todos Santos and Cabo, doing exactly as much or as little as you want. Work on your writing with Amanda Aileen Fisher.

Move and build strength with Pilates and movement educator Tom McCook. Pick up some Spanish. Take a surf lesson. Sit with the sound of the waves and let your mind go somewhere it hasn't been in a while. Or bring a few good friends and do all of it together. Think of it as the reset you've been meaning to take – finally, somewhere worth taking it.
