The word liminal comes from the Latin word “limin,” which means threshold.
It is the space between what was
and what will be.
It is fluid, uncertain, and sacred.
Suspended in time,
It is where we transform.
In this space, feeling and intuition are our guides. Unlike the rational mind, these guides are deep within our hearts.
Our inner Knowing.
To hear our guides, we must choose to connect with ourselves.
Listen deeply with the heart, and connect with the core of our being.
When we connect deeply with ourselves, we realize that separation is an illusion.
We begin to experience ourselves as interconnected with all of life.
Like a kaleidoscope where separate colors blend, we see ourselves in the world, and the world in us.
While externally different, at the core we are One.
From this new perspective, the story of our life and who we think we are begins to shift:
Obstacles become opportunities.
Challenges lead to growth.
Confusion becomes clarity.
Questions lead to insights.
Insights lead to Knowing.
It starts with a Decision
To open to the liminal space
And its sacredness
And accept its invitation to connect deeply within.
Embracing the liminal space of midlife.
