You missed out!

It's time to cultivate and share your wisdom in a world that desperately needs it.

You didn't choose the hard lessons. They chose you.

The betrayals that taught you about trust.

The failures that revealed your resilience.

The losses that showed you what truly matters.

The moments when everything you thought you knew got turned upside
down – and somehow you found your way through.

Each experience left its mark, not just as a memory, but as a piece of hard-won understanding about how life works. You can see what's coming around the corner because you've been around that corner before. You recognize the patterns others miss because you've lived them.

But here's what

frustrates you…

All that accumulated insight feels scattered, like puzzle pieces you haven't quite assembled.

You know you have something valuable to offer – wisdom that could spare others pain, guide them through uncertainty, or simply help them make better choices.

Yet when the moment comes to share it, you find yourself fumbling for the right words, wondering if anyone really wants to hear what you've learned.

The world is drowning in information but starving for real wisdom – the kind that only comes from walking through fire and emerging with deeper understanding.

You've earned that wisdom through every difficult choice… every sleepless night… every time you had to pick yourself up and keep going.

And still that hard-earned wisdom sits quietly in the background, waiting.

Sound familiar?
  • You've never had the time or space to step back and truly reflect on what your experiences have taught you.
  • You're not sure how insights from your journey fit into today's rapidly changing world.
  • You've dismissed your own perspective, assuming, "surely everyone already knows this."
  • You worry that sharing your views will make you seem outdated, too personal, or out of touch.
  • When you do try to offer guidance, it comes out scattered – you know what you want to say, but can't find the right way to say it.
The result? Years of valuable experience remain locked away, helping no one – not even YOU.

But what if there was a way to honor everything you've learned by transforming it into clear, accessible wisdom that actually makes a difference?

Instead of letting your insights fade into the background, you'll learn to distill them into wisdom that benefits you, the people you care about, and a world that desperately needs what you have to offer.
Introducing

The Way of Wisdom

This isn't another self-help course. It's a carefully crafted journey explicitly designed for people who've lived long enough to accumulate real wisdom – and are ready to do something meaningful with it.

Led by author and MEA faculty in residence, Ben Katt, this four-week online immersion gives you the framework and community support to transform scattered life lessons into clear, shareable insights.

You won't be doing this work alone.

MEA has mastered the art of creating intimate online experiences where genuine connections form across continents.

You'll join a cohort of fellow wisdom-seekers who understand the unique challenges and opportunities of this life stage.

And over four weeks, you'll:
  • Connect more deeply with the sources of wisdom already available to you.
  • Learn proven methods to grow and refine your understanding.
  • Discover authentic ways to share your insights so they land with the people who need them most.
This is your chance to honor everything you've learned by giving it the attention – and expression – it deserves.

Your Transformation

This isn't about collecting more techniques – it's about finally making sense of what you already know.

Over four weeks with Ben and a carefully selected group of wisdom leaders, you'll discover where your most profound wisdom comes from and learn how to bring it into the world with confidence and grace.
You'll walk away with:
  • Crystal-clear articulation of your core life lessons – no more fumbling for words when someone needs guidance you know you can provide.
  • Expanded capacity for seeing the bigger picture – the kind of perspective, discernment, and compassion that makes you a natural source of calm in chaos.
  • Proven daily practices that deepen your wisdom over time – so your insights continue growing rather than staying static.
  • The ability to share your experiences as inspiring guidance – without sounding preachy, outdated, or like you're trying too hard to be helpful.
  • Clear recognition of where your voice matters most – the specific contexts where your unique perspective creates real value for others.
By the end, you'll have transformed from someone who "has some wisdom" to someone who knows exactly what they offer and how to share it authentically.

Four expansive weeks to leverage your unique wisdom into a signature lifestyle and lasting impact.

Here's how we'll take you from scattered insights to organized wisdom over four focused weeks. Each week builds naturally on the last, creating a complete system for accessing, growing, and sharing what you've learned.
Week 1

Sourcing Your Wisdom

“Before you can share wisdom, you need to know where yours comes from.”
We'll start by exploring what wisdom truly is – and why it's become your superpower in an information-saturated world. You'll discover the Wisdom Well framework: six distinct layers of wisdom already available to you, waiting to be tapped intentionally.

You'll gain clarity on:
  • Why wisdom gives you an unshakeable advantage in an AI-dominated world where information is infinite but judgment is rare.
  • The six distinct layers of your Wisdom Well – from lived experience to intuitive knowing – and how to tap each one intentionally.
  • Which wisdom sources you're already using naturally, and which untapped wells could transform your decision-making.
Wisdom isn’t just something you have – it’s something you can cultivate, at any age, for the rest of your life.
Week 2

Drawing Wisdom from Your Story

Your experiences – both triumphs and trials – are your greatest teachers.
Both your highs and hard lessons hold invaluable insights that can help clarify what you’ve learned and what it means for the road ahead. This week is about seeing your life story through the lens of wisdom, so you can shape your next chapter with intention and purpose.

You’ll explore:
  • How to identify the pivotal moments and difficult passages that forged your deepest understanding of how the world works.
  • Why your most painful experiences often contain your richest wisdom – and how to mine them without reliving the trauma.
  • A step-by-step process to "metabolize" decades of experience into clear, shareable insights others can actually use.
The life you’ve lived is the curriculum for the wisdom you carry.
Week 3

Growing Your Wisdom

Wisdom isn't static – it deepens with intention and practice.
Now that you understand your wisdom sources, it's time to expand your capacity to access and grow them. This week focuses on building your "wisdom container" – your ability to see clearly, act with discernment, and stay aligned with what matters most.

You’ll discover:
  • Simple daily and seasonal practices that expand your clarity, deepen your compassion, and build unshakeable resilience.
  • How to recognize and trust your body's intelligence – the wisdom that speaks through gut feelings, energy shifts, and physical knowing.
  • Proven techniques for generating fresh insights in real-time, alone and in collaboration with others.
The more you tend to your wisdom, the more it tends to you.
Week 4

Activating Your Wisdom

The final step: bringing your wisdom into the world where it can make a difference.
Wisdom that stays hidden helps no one. In this culminating week, you'll define your unique "wisdom signature" – what only you can offer – and identify the specific places and people who need exactly what you have to give.

You’ll learn:
  • How to express your hard-won insights in ways that feel authentic to you and genuinely helpful to others.
  • The specific contexts where your unique perspective creates the most value – from family decisions to community leadership to professional guidance.
  • How to embody wisdom as a way of being, becoming someone others naturally seek out without you having to promote yourself.
Your wisdom is a gift – and the world needs the version only you can give.
You won't be learning this alone…

We've assembled something unprecedented: a council of wisdom keepers from around the world.

Over four weeks, you'll receive direct insights from 11 remarkable individuals who have dedicated their lives to understanding, practicing, and sharing wisdom across cultures, disciplines, and generations. Each brings a unique perspective that will deepen and expand your own wisdom journey.

You'll learn directly from:

Dr. Dixon Chibanda

The Community Wisdom Pioneer

  • What he'll share
How to recognize and trust the therapeutic power of your own life experience.

Dr. Lyla June

The Indigenous Wisdom Keeper

A scholar and activist who carries forward thousands of years of Indigenous knowledge about living in right relationship with the earth and each other. Her work demonstrates how traditional wisdom can heal modern wounds.
  • What she'll share
How ancestral wisdom can guide you in creating regenerative impact in your community.

Kevin Kelly

The Technology Philosopher

Founding editor of WIRED who has spent decades exploring what it means to stay human – and wise – in an age of artificial intelligence. His unique  perspective bridges ancient wisdom traditions with cutting-edge technology.
  • What he'll share
Why wisdom becomes more valuable, not less, as AI handles more of our thinking.

Dr. B.J. Miller

The Meaning-Maker at Life’s Edges

A palliative care physician, and author, and co-founder of Mettle Health, known for reimagining how we navigate illness, disability, and the end of life with dignity and meaning. His work shows that wisdom often emerges most clearly at the thresholds of life.
  • What he'll share
How to embrace your own vulnerabilities and limitations as sources of insight, compassion, and connection.

Deepak Ramola

The Wisdom Historian

A Stanford fellow who has traveled the world collecting life lessons from ordinary people, transforming their experiences into universal insights. He's proven that everyone carries wisdom worth sharing.
  • What he'll share
How to identify and articulate the universal truths hidden in your personal experiences.

Krista Tippett

The Deep Conversation Master

Peabody Award-winning creator of "On Being" who has spent decades drawing wisdom from some of the world's most thoughtful voices. She's mastered the art of helping people express their deepest insights.
  • What she'll share
How to have conversations that draw out wisdom - both your own and others'.

Dr. Tererai Trent

The Dream Manifestation Guide

Oprah's "all-time favorite guest" who transformed from an impoverished child bride to a global education advocate. Her journey embodies the power of wisdom combined with unwavering determination.
  • What she'll share
How to use your accumulated wisdom to create lasting change in the world.

Pádraig Ó Tuama

The Poet of Human Connection

An Irish poet and theologian whose work in Poetry Unbound and beyond brings language, faith, and imagination together to illuminate the human condition. With a gift for turning ordinary words into doorways of understanding, he shows how poetry can hold complexity, heal divides, and open us to deeper meaning.
  • What he'll share
How poetry and story can unlock wisdom, helping you find words for the truths your life has been teaching you all along.

You’ll also receive wisdom from a special Faith Leaders Panel - voices across traditions on healing, justice, and meaning, including:

  • Hunt Priest – The Christian Renewal Guide
Founder of Ligare: A Christian Psychedelic Society and former Episcopal priest, pioneering the integration of plant medicine with Christian spirituality to foster healing and expanded consciousness.
  • Dr. Najeeba Syeed – The Interfaith Peacemaker
Award-winning scholar, mediator, and interfaith leader whose work in conflict resolution and peacemaking has shaped practices of justice, dialogue, and community healing across cultures and faiths.
  • Rabbi Angela Buchdahl – The Innovator of Tradition
Senior Rabbi of New York’s Central Synagogue and the first Asian American rabbi and cantor, a leading voice in shaping Judaism through both tradition and innovation.
Together, they’ll illuminate how diverse spiritual traditions can ground us in compassion, resilience, and purpose in modern life.

PLUS: Each of the four weekly modules also includes a session featuring beloved MEA founder Chip Conley – as well as centering exercises from Lee Johnson, MEA’s Head of Land, Livestock, and Mindfulness in Santa Fe.

This is like having your own personal advisory council of wisdom masters.

Each perspective will help you see your own experiences through new eyes and give you concrete tools for growing and sharing what you've learned.

Meet your guide

Ben Katt

(Pronounced: Cot)
Ben has walked the path from scattered wisdom to clear purpose – and now guides others on the same journey.

As author of The Way Home: Discovering the Hero's Journey to Wholeness in Midlife, Ben knows firsthand what it feels like to have accumulated decades of experience but struggle to organize it into meaningful guidance.

His book chronicles his own transformation from external success that felt hollow to discovering authentic wisdom that creates lasting impact.

What makes Ben uniquely qualified to guide your wisdom journey:

Deep Personal Experience: Ben has lived the transformation he teaches. After burning out in traditional ministry, he spent years learning to distinguish between borrowed knowledge and earned wisdom – the same distinction you'll master in this program.

Proven Teaching Ability: As an advanced meditation teacher and former ordained minister, Ben has guided hundreds of people through profound inner work. His approach combines spiritual depth with practical application, helping you access wisdom without getting lost in abstract concepts.

Real-World Impact: As a hospice chaplain, Ben witnesses firsthand how people's accumulated wisdom becomes their most incredible gift in life's most meaningful moments. He founded the WITHIN Prison Meditation Project, proving that wisdom can create transformation even in the most challenging circumstances.

Trusted by Thought Leaders: Ben's national work with The On Being Project, supporting spiritual leaders in renewal, demonstrates his ability to help accomplished people rediscover their authentic voice and purpose.

His unique gift: Ben won't overwhelm you with more information or hand you generic answers. Instead, he'll help you recognize the wisdom you've already earned and show you how to express it in ways that feel authentic to you and genuinely helpful to others.

As one participant said:

Ben has this rare ability to help you see your own experiences as the valuable curriculum they really are. He doesn't try to be the guru – he helps you become your own trusted guide.

What others are saying

Having co-led workshops with him and extensively recommended his book, I'm a big fan of Ben Katt's wise perspective on the human journey. He's a secular saint who can translate any mystical message into a practical action plan.

Chip Conley
NY Times bestselling author and founder of MEA

Ben gently yet rigorously guides you on a unique journey of self-discovery, blending awareness and rituals. As you surface what no longer serves you, he supports you through rituals of release and renewal, empowering you to step into your full strength.

An incredible mentor with whom you can be brutally vulnerable. You are safe, supported, and beautifully brought back to your authentic self through his considered, insightful and judgment-free approach.

Ben is an excellent listener. He makes what you are saying and speaks it back to you with the meaning you intended but couldn't necessarily articulate. You are safe, supported, and beautifully brought back to your authentic self through his considered, insightful, and judgment-free approach, sprinkled throughout with some purposeful play!

I loved the individual attentiveness that Ben took in my development. He was clearly genuinely interested in hearing about both my successes and challenges. He exudes an enthusiasm about meditation (which sounds oxymoronic -- ha!) that's contagious.

Ben Katt's coaching program is truly like no other and irreversibly transformative. It is well guided, inspiring, and personalized… culminating – at least for me – in a remarkable emergence of my true self, unshackled by past limiting beliefs and patterns.

Ben is amazing! I’ve tried all different kinds of apps/programs and none of them stuck with me. I was always told to “clear my mind” and I would get frustrated that I couldn’t do so. He meets you where you’re at in your journey and simply helps you just BE.

Ben's knowledge, passion, and ability to translate to beginners is incredible. He is able to take potentially uncomfortable topics and discuss them with ease and compassion. He is able to take abstract concepts and make them vivid and clear through everyday analogies. Thank you Ben!

Ben is very patient and a knowledgeable instructor/teacher. He finds ways to be engaging as well as flexible to give you the full experience while allowing you to also hold accountability for the changes that you need.

This is for you if…

  • You're tired of feeling like your hard-won insights are scattered – you know you've learned valuable lessons from decades of living, but they feel fragmented and difficult to access when you need them most.
  • You have wisdom to share but struggle with how to express it – you've been through experiences that could help others, but you worry about sounding preachy, outdated, or irrelevant when you try to offer guidance.
  • You want to stop second-guessing the value of your perspective – despite your experience, you find yourself dismissing your own insights or assuming "everyone already knows this."
  • You're ready to move beyond consuming endless information – you're overwhelmed by podcasts, articles, and expert opinions, and want to reconnect with your own inner knowing and judgment.
  • You sense there's more meaning waiting to be unlocked from your life story – you've lived through significant challenges and changes, but haven't taken time to reflect on what they've taught you about how the world really works.
  • You want authentic community with others on a similar journey – you're looking for thoughtful peers who value deep conversation over small talk and understand the unique opportunities of this life stage.

This is NOT for you if…

  • You're looking for quick fixes or external validation rather than doing the inner work of reflection and integration
  • You're early in your life journey without substantial experience to draw from
  • You prefer surface-level connections over meaningful, sometimes vulnerable sharing

Why This Work Matters Now More Than Ever

We're living through a wisdom crisis disguised as an information revolution.

Every day, AI gets better at generating answers, analyzing data, and processing information. But it will never be able to replicate what you carry: the hard-won understanding that comes from decades of living, failing, recovering, and choosing again.

Your accumulated experience isn't just personal history – it's irreplaceable human intelligence.

The challenges facing our families, communities, and world can't be solved by algorithms or expert opinions alone. They require the kind of seasoned judgment that only comes from navigating difficulty and emerging with a deeper understanding.

Yet most of us let this wisdom sit unused.

We undervalue our own perspective.

We assume others already know what we've learned.

We let our insights fade into the background while the world desperately needs exactly what we have to offer.

The stakes are higher than you think. As artificial intelligence handles more of our thinking, human wisdom becomes more valuable, not less. The people who can see patterns, offer perspective, and guide others through complexity will be the ones who matter most in the years ahead.

The Way of Wisdom isn't just personal development – it's your opportunity to make sure your life experience doesn't fade quietly into the background, but instead becomes a living resource you can draw from daily and a gift you can offer to a world that needs it.

The question isn't whether you have something valuable to contribute. You do. The question is whether you'll take the time to organize it in a way that makes a difference.

The Way of Wisdom is an opportunity to make sure your life experience doesn’t fade quietly into the background – but instead becomes a living resource you can draw from daily, and a gift you can offer to others.

The “Way Of Wisdom” Summary:

  • Four weeks of guided curriculum led by Ben Katt
  • 4 live Zoom sessions with Ben to go deeper and connect in real time
  • Exclusive learnings from six world-renowned wisdom teachers – insights you can't get anywhere else
  • Four optional Community Café sessions – authentic connection with fellow wisdom seekers
  • Comprehensive between-session learning – video modules, guided exercises, and reflection tools
  • Lifetime access to four deep-dive video modules of insightful and inspiring content – including guest faculty clips and real wisdom stories from participants
  • Private community platform for connection and conversation

Frequently Asked

Questions

I’ve taken The Hero’s Journey masterclass. How is this different?

The Hero’s Journey is focused on navigating life transitions through a three-part arc – leaving the familiar, navigating uncertainty, and returning transformed. The Way of Wisdom builds on that kind of deep inner work, but goes further by introducing the Wisdom Well framework and guiding you through the ongoing practices of sourcing, growing, and contributing your wisdom.

It’s less about mapping your life and more about cultivating a way of being that you can carry forward to the choices you make, the people you influence, and the larger story you’re a part of.

I’ve taken Return to Wisdom. How is this different?

Return to Wisdom is a two-day live immersion – a chance to explore life’s big questions, reconnect with your wisdom sources, and identify your unique wisdom signature. The Way of Wisdom is a four-week hybrid program that combines live sessions with comprehensive video modules designed to deepen your understanding, integrate new practices, and identify concrete ways to offer your wisdom in the world.

Not only will you learn from Ben Katt in your two-hour live sessions, you’ll also receive powerful insight from your personal advisory council of wisdom masters, including Dr. Dixon Chabanda, Krista Tippet, Dr. Tererai Trent, Deepak Ramola, and more.

PLUS: Each of the four weekly modules includes a session featuring beloved MEA founder Chip Conley – as well as centering exercises from Lee Johnson, MEA’s Head of Land, Livestock, and Mindfulness in Santa Fe.

Do I need to have taken another MEA program first?

Not at all. The Way of Wisdom works as a standalone experience. If you’ve taken other MEA programs, you may find the concepts feel familiar – but this immersion will give you a more comprehensive and practical approach to cultivating and contributing your wisdom.

Do I need to know what I want to do with my wisdom?

No. You don’t have to come in with a plan. This program is designed to help you clarify what you’ve learned from your life so far, explore new practices to grow your perspective, and discover where your wisdom might have the most impact.

What if I don’t feel “wise enough” to join?

Wisdom isn’t a finish line you cross – it’s something you grow through reflection, experience, and sharing. This program meets you exactly where you are. Whether you’re just beginning to see the patterns in your life or have decades of insight to draw from, you’ll find tools and practices that help you expand and express your wisdom more fully.

Am I too old to start something new like this?

Not at all. One of the core ideas of The Way of Wisdom is that wisdom can grow at any age. In fact, research shows that our capacity for perspective, discernment, and empathy often increases later in life. This program will help you tap into that potential and use it in ways that are meaningful to you – now and in the years ahead.

What’s included in my registration?

Your registration includes:

  • Two 2-hour live sessions with Ben Katt (each offered twice on the same day for schedule flexibility)
  • Four hour-long weekly Community Café meet-ups
  • Four comprehensive weekly modules of video content from wisdom masters such as Dr. Dixon Chabanda, Krista Tippet, Dr. Tererai Trent, Deepak Ramola, MEA’s own Chip Conley, and more
  • Lifetime access to all session recordings
  • Weekly reflection prompts and practices
  • A Wisdom Well self-assessment to identify your current wisdom sources
  • A private online space for community connection

Do I need to attend all sessions live?

We recommend it, as being there live allows you to engage directly with Ben, participate in real-time discussions, and connect with others. But if you can’t attend live, you’ll have lifetime access to the recordings for every session.

How does this experience help me live my wisdom more fully?

This is a guided learning and reflection experience, not therapy or one-on-one coaching. While it may be personally meaningful, it’s not a substitute for professional mental health support.

Is there a refund policy?

Yes. You are welcome to register and participate in the program for the first seven days and if it isn’t the right fit, let us know by day seven and we will happily refund your entire tuition.

Your wisdom isn’t meant to stay hidden.

It’s meant to grow, to be lived, and to make a difference. Are you ready to turn a lifetime of experience into clarity, confidence, and impact?
