What Now? Finding Passion and Purpose After a Big Success
Is a partial scholarship for you?
We believe in making personal growth and education accessible to everyone, which is why we offer partial scholarships on a needs-aware basis for many of our programs.
These scholarships support individuals facing financial challenges, including — but not limited to — members of underrepresented communities. If financial stress might prevent you from attending a workshop, we encourage you to apply.
Partial scholarships, provided through the Association for Growth and Education, are limited to 2–3 seats per workshop and reviewed in the order received. We recommend applying as soon as possible, as scholarship decisions are typically confirmed 90–120 days before the workshop date.

Where do you find meaning and excitement after you've built something special and let it go?
After the high of a major achievement fades, a quieter question tends to follow:
What now?
Maybe you sold your company, stepped away from a role that once consumed your focus, let go of something you built with everything you had.
At one point, your life was packed with purpose, pressure, and meaning. Now there’s space – and not the peaceful kind.
It’s the kind that stirs restlessness. Possibility. Uncertainty.
And no clear next move.
The hardest part isn't leaving your company behind – it's losing the identity that came with it.
You knew who you were. You had direction, momentum, and something that mattered to chase. Now you’ve got a blank slate and too many choices, none of which feel quite right.
You could keep saying yes to things that look good on paper. Or you could figure out what actually makes you feel alive again.
What you’re craving isn’t another win. It’s clarity about what will actually feel fulfilling this time.
Not another business opportunity, pitch, or someone telling you to just enjoy the ride.
You need:
Edward Sullivan has spent 25 years guiding Fortune 500 CEOs, startup founders, and heads of state through high-stakes transitions.
His clients – from Apple, Google, Salesforce, and DoorDash – often come to him after a big win, asking the same quiet question:
“I’ve done it all. Why doesn’t it feel like enough?”
Edward’s the go-to coach for high-achievers who’ve hit the top and are ready for something deeper. A Wall Street Journal bestselling author featured in The New York Times and Harvard Business Review, he’s known for helping leaders find fulfillment that outlasts their résumés.
He’ll be joined by Chip Conley, who built and sold Joie de Vivre Hospitality before reinventing himself at Airbnb and ultimately founding MEA at 52. Chip has lived this transition himself and has helped thousands navigate the identity shifts that come after achievement.
Together, at MEA’s stunning oceanfront Baja campus, they’ve created a powerful 5-day retreat combining MEA’s proven curriculum with Edward’s elite coaching – designed specifically for accomplished leaders who are ready to create a next chapter that feels truly worth it.
During your five days with Edward and Chip in Baja, you’ll:
Meet Your Faculty
The most successful people I work with aren't stuck because they lack options, they're stuck because they have too many, and they've lost touch with what actually matters to them.
