Rewilding: Reclaiming Your Self Agency in a World That Wants to Tame You
Is a partial scholarship for you?
We believe in making personal growth and education accessible to everyone, which is why we offer partial scholarships on a needs-aware basis for many of our programs.
These scholarships support individuals facing financial challenges, including — but not limited to — members of underrepresented communities. If financial stress might prevent you from attending a workshop, we encourage you to apply.
Partial scholarships, provided through the Association for Growth and Education, are limited to 2–3 seats per workshop and reviewed in the order received. We recommend applying as soon as possible, as scholarship decisions are typically confirmed 90–120 days before the workshop date.

Rediscover who you were before the world told you who to be.
As children, we face the ultimate existential conundrum: trade parts of ourselves to belong to the family system or risk not belonging to the family system in order to belong to ourselves.
Very few of us emerge as adults with fully intact, healthily differentiated egos that can authentically create the lives we deserve. This struggle translates into a complicated relationship with our self-agency and self-expression.
Interpersonal dynamics become stressful, and important opportunities are lost.
You walk away from conversations knowing you didn't say what you meant. You accommodate when you should assert. You come out too hot when you mean to stand firm.
Left unchanged, this leads to depression, isolation, resentment, and a haunting sense that something more is possible for you. The gap between who you are and who you're capable of being only widens.
The cost isn't just internal – it shows up in your relationships, your work, and every choice you make from a place of fear instead of power.
What if reclaiming your wild self is exactly what your life has been waiting for?
The wild truth of who you are hasn't gone anywhere. It's just been silenced by a lifetime of playing it safe.
Where wild wisdom meets modern transformation.
In this transformative 4-day workshop with EQUUS master Kelly Wendorf and the MEA herd of horses, you'll journey beyond your domesticated self to rediscover your natural power, guided by revolutionary horse wisdom and cutting-edge neuroscience that awakens your authentic self-expression.
Based on Kelly’s powerful online course, Assertiveness for Life and Leadership and her celebrated book, Flying Lead Change: 56 Million Years of Wisdom for Leadership and Life, this workshop is an opportunity to engage in revolutionary learning experiences to radically change outcomes in your life.
The process is not for the faint of heart. If you’re ready to move outside your comfort zones and enter the raw and wild places where change truly happens, this game-changing workshop is for you.
What four days of rewilding with Kelly looks like:
Master authentic power through revolutionary models that free your self-agency and shift how you show up in every part of your life
Understand the neurobiology of self-expression – discover how your brain and body hold patterns of diminishment, and learn exactly how to break free
Experience profound shifts through direct work with the MEA herd, guided by EQUUS® founder Kelly Wendorf, accessing wisdom that bypasses words entirely
Develop practices that integrate mind, body, and spirit through journaling, dialogue, and transformative exercises designed to rewild your authentic voice
Reconnect with your innate wisdom through time in nature – the ultimate rewilding teacher – on MEA's stunning 4-square-mile mountain ranch
Leave with practical tools for authentic self-expression, a visceral understanding of your own power, and the confidence to create the changes you've been yearning for.
This Workshop
Is For You If…
Our birthright is to be free – unbridled, unbroken. So our first step into freedom is to rewild ourselves.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need horse experience?
Not at all. Some who come may have spent years around horses, others may have never touched one. All are welcome. This isn’t about riding or horsemanship – it’s about letting the horses mirror back what you can’t yet see in yourself and learning to trust your own instincts again.
Will I be working directly with horses?
Yes. You’ll engage in powerful experiential exercises with the MEA herd, guided by Kelly. These aren’t traditional riding lessons – the horses become your teachers, reflecting your patterns of self-expression and power. Many find these encounters profoundly moving, but the work always respects your comfort level and readiness.
What will a typical day look like?
Days will include neuroscience-backed practices to understand how your body holds patterns of diminishment, journaling and reflection, group dialogue, and experiential exercises in nature and with horses. You’ll have space for walks on the ranch and unstructured time to integrate what’s emerging. The rhythm is designed to challenge you while supporting you and leaving space for integration.
Is this workshop emotionally intense?
Yes, and that’s by design. Kelly’s work isn’t about staying comfortable – it’s about moving into the raw, wild places where real change happens. You’ll be supported by the intimate group setting, Kelly’s expert guidance, and MEA’s world-class hospitality, but expect to confront parts of yourself you’ve been avoiding.
How is this different from other leadership or personal development workshops?
This isn’t a weekend of theory or motivational talks. Kelly’s EQUUS method combines ancient wisdom, cutting-edge neuroscience, and direct work with horses to create breakthrough change that goes beyond intellectual understanding. The focus is on embodied transformation – you’ll feel the shift in your body, not just think about it.
What will I take home from this experience?
You’ll leave with practical tools for authentic self-expression, a powerful understanding of what your real power feels like, and the confidence to assert your needs without apology. You’ll also carry home the connections made in MEA’s intimate setting and four days of being held by thoughtful hospitality on our stunning nearly 2,600-acre mountain ranch near Santa Fe.
How do I know if I qualify for financial aid?
We offer financial assistance on a needs-aware basis. Our goal is to make MEA accessible to those who may face financial barriers to attending. If you’re experiencing financial stress that could prevent your participation, we encourage you to apply for assistance.
