Author, speaker, and podcast host Rob Bell presents…
Your Life As a Creative Act: Power & Possibility
Jan 19 - Jan 24, 2026 in Baja, Mexico Led by: Rob Bell, Christine Sperber, Caitlin Allen
Is a partial scholarship for you?
We believe in making personal growth and education accessible to everyone, which is why we offer partial scholarships on a needs-aware basis for many of our programs.
These scholarships support individuals facing financial challenges, including — but not limited to — members of underrepresented communities. If financial stress might prevent you from attending a workshop, we encourage you to apply.
Partial scholarships, provided through the Association for Growth and Education, are limited to 2–3 seats per workshop and reviewed in the order received. We recommend applying as soon as possible, as scholarship decisions are typically confirmed 90–120 days before the workshop date.
Does life feel like something that happens TO you – as opposed to something you’re actively creating?
You’ve done what was expected. Followed the plans. Kept the momentum going.
Yet somewhere along the way, it started to feel like something essential got lost — your voice, your spark, your sense of ownership over where it’s all going.
The good news is: you’re not broken. You’re not behind. You’re simply ready for something more aligned.
This is your invitation to step out of the role of spectator — and step back into the creative center of your own life.
Join author, speaker, and popular podcast host Rob Bell and the MEA team in Baja for a transformative five-day experience designed to help you reconnect with your agency, reframe your past, and listen for what wants to emerge next.
Through candid conversation, perspective-expanding activities, and deep reflection, you’ll explore your life not as a series of random occurrences or outcomes to optimize – but as a creative act in motion, unfolding through your presence and choices.
What you’ll gain
In five perspective-expanding days, you will be invited to:
Come ready to loosen old assumptions and explore what becomes possible when you recognize your agency and reclaim your role as the one shaping your experience.

He’s taught on stages around the world, performed nine wildly popular solo speaking tours, and was named one of Time Magazine’s 100 Most Influential People in the World.
At heart, Rob is a guide for people ready to live from the inside out – to shift from performance to presence, from expectation to expression. His work invites you to see your life as something not to fix or explain, but to create.
This January in Baja, he brings all of that to the table – and invites you to do the same.
This workshop is for you if...
You’ve been standing at a distance from your own life, watching it unfold instead of shaping it — and you’re ready to step back into center.
You’re carrying stories about your past that feel heavy – and wonder what might open if you viewed them through a new lens.
You’ve followed timelines that no longer reflect who you are – and want a more flexible, intuitive relationship with time.
You’ve tried to eliminate fear, uncertainty and failure – and are ready to integrate them as part of your creative agency.
You feel a shift happening in your life – but haven’t yet found language or direction for what it means.
You long for a space where stillness, deep listening, and curiosity reveal your next steps – not a plan, but an inner truth.

Meet your MEA facilitators
In addition to the powerful sessions conducted by Rob, you will be guided through the core MEA curriculum by our faculty members:
Christine Sperber
MEA Co-Founder
View Bio
Christine Sperber is a former World Cup snowboarder and serial entrepreneur and innovator who has launched and grown award-winning hotels, businesses, and industry-evolving ideas in the sports and hospitality worlds and beyond. The word her workshop participants use most often to describe her is “badass” in recognition of her irrepressible energy and ability to make shit happen.
When Christine moved from being an athlete to the business side of snowboarding in her early 20s, she pretended she was 33 years old because it made it easier to find credibility, especially on the resort side where she often had to work with “crusty old ski coots.” Then one day she finally turned her fake age and has happily welcomed every birthday since then.
Throughout her career, Christine has managed pro athletes and world-class snowboard camps, pioneered game-changing hospitality concepts, introduced the first machine-groomed half pipes on glacial snow when no one else thought it could be done, and created sporting event series that are still happening decades later. On top of all that, she has worn the hats of writer, restaurateur, multimillion dollar sales rep, and more.
As one of MEA’s founders, Christine co-created the company and was critical in transforming the concept of a Modern Elder Academy into reality. Christine is a devoted team builder whose authenticity, values-based leadership skills, and empathetic engagement create community wherever she focuses her attention. She is a passionate activist and steward of the land and is dedicated to creating transformative experiences that change people’s lives. She makes everything she gets involved in more fun, more meaningful, and more human.
“As we age, it’s important to continue to play games we aren’t sure we can win.”
– Christine Sperber

Your life is a creative act – and you’re the one shaping it.
When you shift how you see time, fear, and failure, everything changes. What once felt like limitation becomes possibility.
This isn’t about chasing some distant ideal —–it’s about stepping into the present with open eyes and the power to shape what comes next.
