Procrastinators of the World, Unite!


The only challenge with creating a Worldwide Association of Procrastinators is that no one would show up for the first meeting. And that’s assuming they scheduled the first meeting.

Yes, there are things we don’t want to do. Things we put off and keep adding from one to-do list to the next.

For the past few years, I’ve wanted to walk the seven-mile crescent stretch of sand at Cerritos Beach just south of the MEA campus. As you might guess, I always say mañana. Until now.

And it only took a pandemic.

With an empty beach and my empty schedule, I finally took the sojourn with our dog, Jamie. And as proof that our procrastinations can one day come to a glorious end, I took this self-video at the end of the beach, along with my thoughts on why we all need to feel like we’re making progress in life.
