What a joy it was to be part of the teaching team for our first MEA Silent Retreat with Teddi taking the lead role in curating and week. We have more of these planned in 2026 including Jan 5-10 in Baja and April 2-5 in Santa Fe.

a few of the reliable anchor words I came back to while in stillness with my own heart and all of your beating hearts. the radical act of just simply stopping. we did this together with a sense of communion. the mysterious action of the spirit within the interiority of our inner landscape. a devotional sincerity unfolded with each breath during our time in silence.
silent dinners
silent walks
silent sunsets
silent mornings
silent nights
silent joy
we sat quietly in many circles exploring the interiority of ourselves and collectively we accessed and awakened, consolation, inspiration, aspiration, insights and devotional clarity to the point where our subjectivity became translucent and ethereal.
this spacious restful awareness poured over us like the gentle touch of the galisteo wind on our skin. with ease we drifted from our minds to our senses
the scent of the shamans basil
the taste of fresh cobbler pie
the gentle sound of the rain
and the shooting stars that reminded us that this was what we have been longing for
to just be
just be
what will happen to me if I surrender to these longings, what if I don’t?
surrender to all my complexities
and all the unresolved things
opening up to a whole new authenticity
and a love that isn’t imposing
a love that invites us back to ourselves
quietly persistence
everything leans into everything
this gentle upholding
the quiet refuge we found in each of our hearts
