Can’t Be The Noun Without Doing the Verb
You can’t be a writer if you don’t write. You can’t be a surfer if you don’t surf. You can’t be a gardener if you don’t garden. Call it cosmic grammar—the magic lies in verbs. All of which begs the question:
What verbs haven’t you earned? What are the things you’re talking about doing, but not doing? Just writing this compels me to jump in the car with my board. It’s been four months since I surfed. And, let’s be honest, at best, I’m a pseudo-surfer.
A little more verb, a little less noun. A little more verve, a little less frown.
