You Can’t Judge a Book (or an Older Singer) by its Cover
Remember Susan Boyle, that angelic, older singer who became a global sensation on “Britain’s Got Talent” TV show? Well, there’s a new singer on the show, the 68-year-old Jenny Darren, who’s flipped Simon Cowell’s wig, and I wanted to share this video with you.
When Jenny first walks on stage, you wouldn’t expect this demure, retired woman to have over fifty years of experience as a musician, including being a backup vocalist for AC/DC and releasing four albums. Then, she starts taking off her modest, conservative attire and starts belting out “Highway to Hell.” It’s hilarious and inspiring. Hope you enjoy the video.
