Why I’m Thrilled to Teach with Krista Tippett Next Week

June 23, 2025
Starting this Sunday evening, I have the joy and privilege of co-teaching a workshop at MEA Santa Fe with the incomparable Krista Tippett. For years, Krista’s voice on On Being has been a lighthouse for seekers—those of us navigating questions of meaning, mystery, and what it means to be fully human.

Now, to join her in guiding others through their own transitions at MEA feels like a convergence of everything I care about: curiosity, soulfulness, and collective growth and effervescence.

Krista brings a kind of moral and emotional intelligence that’s rare in public life. She doesn’t rush to certainty. She listens with a generosity that opens up space—for guests, for listeners, and soon, for our MEA compadres. I believe that the questions we’ll explore together—around wisdom, spirituality, and the evolving shape of identity—are not only timely, but timeless.

This isn’t just another workshop. It’s an opportunity to co-create a container of depth and grace with someone who has spent decades crafting conversations that matter. We’ll gather in the magical setting of our regenerative ranch in Santa Fe—where the land itself encourages reflection—and invite participants to tune into their inner wisdom, just as we’ll be doing ourselves.

In a world obsessed with noise and speed, Krista Tippett models the art of stillness and attention. I’m honored to share space with her and even more excited for what we’ll learn—from each other, and from those who join us. This is going to be a week to remember and ends the night of July 3 so you Americans can still celebrate 4th of July with family and friends.
