Steven Forrest
Evolutionary astrologist and author of The Inner Sky, The Changing Sky, The Book of Pluto, Yesterday’s Sky: Astrology and Reincarnation, and more
Steven Forrest is an astrologer, writer, and lecturer who has written nearly a dozen books and is widely considered to be the world’s foremost evolutionary astrologist.
Steven used to write the monthly astrology column for ELLE magazine and has appeared on many radio and television programs. His work has been translated into numerous languages, and he travels widely throughout the world lecturing on astrological topics.
Most notably, he has taught at Omega Institute, the New York Open Center and the Marion Foundation, and addressed the Fellows at Andrew Weil's program in Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona, Tucson.
Steven served on the Ethics Committee of the International society for Astrological Research from 2002 through 2006, helping to write the Code of Ethics that governs professional astrology. In 1985, he won the 1985 Professional Astrologers Incorporated Award for "Outstanding Contribution to the Art and Science of Astrology," and was nominated for a United Astrology Congress Regulus Award in 1992, 1995, and 2008.
Rob Brezny, in his popular Real Astrology column, has called Steven “the most brilliant astrologer alive” and Robert Downey, Jr. once said, “I marvel at the accuracy of Steven’s readings. He insists that nothing is so grave as to be beyond repair, and correspondingly that there is no rainbow that won’t be evaporated by poor judgment in the now. I can’t recommend him highly enough.”

Before joining MEA, Daniel “DL” Landes spent decades as a restauranteur, author, and publisher. As the owner of multiple restaurants in Denver, CO – and then a hostel in Mexico – he dedicated himself to creating environments where people could work out their humanity while eating and drinking (which is why he fits in so well at MEA).
Now relocated to Santa Fe, DL says that “living in the Galisteo Basin impresses a unique and humbling perspective. Under the expansive, enchanted New Mexican sky I can feel so small and so big. I made a career of kicking up dust; living in the storm until the storm lived in me. When the dust settled two guideposts appeared: Spend more nights under the stars; provide a service.”
