Led by: Michael Franti, Chip Conley, Robert King, Daniel 'DL' Landes
Get back into rhythm with your life – and unlock your creative capacity to thrive with Michael Franti
Do you ever feel like your life has lost its rhythm – like you’re moving out of sync with the things that matter most to you?
Not just the people you love and want to spend more time with… but the ideas, passions, joys, and experiences that fuel you and make you feel alive?
If life has been distracting you from doing what you love and cherish most, that’s a sign it’s time to dial down the "noise" of what's no longer serving you and get back in tune with your purpose, values, and joy.
Spearhead founder and frontman Michael Franti can help you with that.
A a chart-topping musician, award-winning documentarian, and activist who has dedicated his life to building community and advocating for positive change, Michael can show you how to tune back into the music of your soul and create the life you dream of living.
Join Michael and his close friend, MEA founder Chip Conley, in Santa Fe for a transformative week of reconnecting with your mojo, grooving to your own rhythm, and reigniting your inner fire and your capacity to create beauty and meaning with your life.
What you’ll gain
Through embodied and experiential activities designed to spark creativity, self-understanding, and out-of-the-box thinking, you will:
Yes, there will be music. (And you will be helping to make it, even if you’re “not a musician” and have never held an instrument before.)
There will be dancing and art, epiphanies and joy.
But mostly there will be you, reconnecting with your fundamental self and creating a new vision of your life based on possibilities you had forgotten, or given up on, or never imagined you had the capacity to manifest. (Spoiler: you absolutely do.)

Michael Franti
Creator & frontman of Spearhead, the Beatnigs, Disposable Heroes of Hiphoprisy
Michael Franti is a globally-recognized musician, humanitarian, activist, and award-winning filmmaker revered for his inspiring music, high-energy live shows, devotion to health and wellness, worldwide philanthropic efforts, and the power of his optimism. From his early days with The Beatnigs and The Disposable Heroes of Hiphoprisy to his current work with Spearhead, Michael has used his music, poetry, and art to inspire social change. Robert King is a family medicine physician and award-winning ceramic artist with work in private and public collections all over the world. He is a member of the Choctaw Nation of Oklohoma and lives in Galisteo, New Mexico with his fearless and furry companion, Wilbur.
As an artist, Robert continuously seeks new ways to express himself, utilizing the natural resources found in the surrounding landscape. Daniel 'DL' Landes
Experience Facilitator

Before joining MEA, Daniel “DL” Landes spent decades as a restauranteur, author, and publisher. As the owner of multiple restaurants in Denver, CO – and then a hostel in Mexico – he dedicated himself to creating environments where people could work out their humanity while eating and drinking (which is why he fits in so well at MEA).
Now relocated to Santa Fe, DL says that “living in the Galisteo Basin impresses a unique and humbling perspective. Under the expansive, enchanted New Mexican sky I can feel so small and so big. I made a career of kicking up dust; living in the storm until the storm lived in me. When the dust settled two guideposts appeared: Spend more nights under the stars; provide a service.”
You will appreciate his dedication to creating memorable experiences during your time in Santa Fe.
