Musician, award-winning filmmaker, and activist Michael Franti presents…
Finding Your Rhythm in Midlife and Beyond
Apr 21 - Apr 26, 2025 in Santa Fe, USA Led by: Michael Franti, Chip Conley, Robert King, Darby Rose
Get back into rhythm with your life – and unlock your creative capacity to thrive with Michael Franti.
Do you ever feel like your life has lost its rhythm – like you’re moving out of sync with the things that matter most to you?
Not just the people you love and want to spend more time with… but the ideas, passions, joys, and experiences that fuel you and make you feel alive?
If life has been distracting you from doing what you love and cherish most, that’s a sign it’s time to dial down the "noise" of what's no longer serving you and get back in tune with your purpose, values, and joy.
Spearhead founder and frontman Michael Franti can help you with that.
A chart-topping musician, award-winning documentarian, and activist who's dedicated his life to building community and advocating for positive change, Michael can show you how to tune back into the music of your soul and create the life you dream of living.
Join Michael and his close friend, MEA founder Chip Conley, in Santa Fe for a transformative week of reconnecting with your mojo, grooving to your own rhythm, and reigniting your inner fire and your capacity to create beauty and meaning with your life.
MAIN CAMPUS SOLD OUT! Reserve your spot in our sister campus and save 20%. What you’ll gain
Through embodied and experiential activities designed to spark creativity, self-understanding, and out-of-the-box thinking, you will:
Yes, there will be music. (And you will be helping to make it, even if you’re “not a musician” and have never held an instrument before.)
There will be dancing and art, epiphanies and joy.
But mostly there will be you, reconnecting with your fundamental self and creating a new vision of your life based on possibilities you had forgotten, or given up on, or never imagined you had the capacity to manifest. (Spoiler: you absolutely do.)
Meet your faculty
Michael Franti
Creator & frontman of Spearhead, the Beatnigs, Disposable Heroes of Hiphoprisy
Michael Franti is a globally-recognized musician, humanitarian, activist, and award-winning filmmaker revered for his inspiring music, high-energy live shows, devotion to health and wellness, worldwide philanthropic efforts, and the power of his optimism. His music has produced five Billboard #1 singles and an array of top 30 hits.
From his early days with The Beatnigs and The Disposable Heroes of Hiphoprisy to his current work with Spearhead, Michael has used his music, poetry, and art to inspire social change. His music challenges the status quo by synthesizing eclectic influences and genres such as industrial music, hip-hop, funk, dancehall, reggae, bossa nova, and Afrobeat with socially conscious lyrics that speak out against war and injustice.
Michael's music and activism addresses issues from gun violence to climate change and peace in the Middle East. In 2001, he was awarded the Domestic Human Rights Award by Global Exchange, an international NGO based in San Francisco, for his work to end war. Through his wish-granting nonprofit organization, Do It For The Love foundation, he brings people with life-threatening illnesses and trauma, children with severe challenges, and wounded veterans to live concerts with the goal of inspiring joy through the healing power of music.
Michael is also the host of Stay Human, a podcast in which he speaks with other cultural creatives whose music, art, entrepreneurship, and activism are helping to change the world.
