BJ Miller
Author
BJ Miller is a triple amputee, hospice and palliative care physician, author, and speaker known for his work on end-of-life care. After a near-fatal accident at Princeton University in 1990 that resulted in the amputation of his left arm and both legs, he shifted his focus from art to medicine to better understand the human experience of suffering and dying.
He is the co-author of the book “A Beginner’s Guide to the End” and a sought-after speaker, including for his 2015 TED Talk, “What Really Matters at the End of Life”.
