Second Nurture.

When something becomes “second nature,” it’s instinctive and natural. And, to “nurture” is the process of caring for and encouraging the growth or development of someone or something.
What if we reconsidered midlife as the life stage when we welcome a “second nurture”—a time when we support our own growth and development for the second half of our adult life?
Seems so damn obvious, right? Am I missing something?
