Deborah Newbrun

Rabbi Deborah Newbrun directed Camp Tawonga near Yosemite CA for 26 years. She co-authored Spirit In Nature and founded a series of retreats including: Divorce and Discovery, Keshet Family Camp, and Queer Talmud Camp (co-founder). She is an innovative experiential educator and received the 2018 Covenant Award for excellence in Jewish education.
