Elisa Allen Arias

Elisa Allen Arias is a teacher and farmer passionate about food systems, social justice, and ecology. She has a B.S. in Biology, a Masters in Secondary Education, and considers herself a lifelong learner. After growing up in Southern California, Elisa spent time in New Hampshire and Maine where she got hooked on soil science and started her own small, regenerative farm with pasture-raised pigs and chickens. She spent a few years teaching high school Biology, Marine Biology, and Sustainable Agriculture before moving to Baja Sur in 2016. She's currently working on forming the first farmland trust in Baja Sur to preserve our local farmland for the long term.
