A (fill in the blank) of Modern Elders?
A flock of seagulls. A pride of lions. A quiver of cobras. A dazzle of zebras. A prickle of porcupines. A charm of hummingbirds, A drove of donkeys. A parade of elephants. A conspiracy of lemurs. An army of frogs (or ants). A bloat of hippopotami. A pandemonium of parrots. A rafter of turkeys (live, not on your dining room table).
Don't you love the collective nouns we've created to describe animal groups? I'm curious about who came up with these gems. And, more importantly, what exactly would you call a group of Modern Elders?
Get creative and send me some doozies. Remember, our animal world's patron saint is the owl (since we're supposedly wise). And, if you're wondering, a group of owls is called a parliament. You can't make this stuff up. Okay, now it's your turn. Let's hear what you got?
