"I Baja-ed It!"
A year of nomading and grieving. A year of honoring and not fixing. A year of active and empathic listening. A year of loving, not just others, but myself. A year of powerful badassery. A year exploring and navigating being Just to The Left of Death three times.
And so I went…
I went to Greece in honor of my brother's wish before he passed of Cancer.
I went to Italy to eat and celebrate my late friend.
I went to Austin to innovate.
I went to Palm Springs for inclusion and to mend my heart.
I went to Canada to see my family and build with passion.
I went to a psychedelic space to hug my father I found after his suicide.
I went back to California to pay property taxes, laugh, and replant roots.
And when I was truly ready to honor all of it, everything that comes with the S’s of grief- the silence, the swirl, the shame, the survival, surrender, and the show up:
“I Baja-ed it”

To fully process and release something as an act of radical resilience.
Example: “I’m happy to share that I have fully Baja-ed my last relationship and feel good about it.”
