There are communities of artists, makers, and creators, and both sites attract the modern elder crowd. Additionally, our two locations are magnets for seekers of all stripes—people curious about life's meaning.

However, you may be surprised by one of the most important reasons we chose to locate in Baja and Santa Fe. They are strategically remote and slightly unfamiliar to those who make the pilgrimage to our front doors.

Yes, it would have been easier to locate near a large municipality like Sonoma (Bay Area), Ojai (LA), or the Hudson Valley (NYC), but then we would have been a commuter school. Transformation happens when you're liminal, in that awkward place that doesn't feel familiar. You are more apt to change when you're in a place that naturally puts you a little off-balance. And change is what we're all about.

We hope you’ll visit us in Baja this year and Santa Fe when our Ranch campus opens early next year.
