Dr. Lyla June Johnston
Artist, Scholar, Community Organizer

Dr. Lyla June Johnston (aka Lyla June) is an Indigenous musician, scholar, and community organizer of Diné (Navajo), Tsétsêhéstâhese (Cheyenne) and European lineages. Her research deeply examines ancient and contemporary sustainable Indigenous systems and their lessons for today. She is also a poet, musician, facilitator, and community organizer.


Christine Sperber
MEA co-founder and fearless Chief Experience Officer (CXO)

MEA co-founder and fearless Chief Experience Officer (CXO), Christine Sperber has been a pro athlete, hotelier, producer, writer, and restaurateur. She’s passionate about service and caring for people, dogs, and the planet.

Lee Johnson
Ranch Manager, MEA's Rising Circle Ranch

Lee Johnson is the Ranch Manager at MEA's Rising Circle Ranch. Lee listens to and respects earth speed. He is a Holistic Management certified outdoor educator, has studied with and worked for the Savory Institute, and was an Outward Bound leader. After nine years regenerating the remote Hobo Ranch in New Mexico, much was put into conservation.
